EPSILON OMEGA

OUR HISTORY

The 144th chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority was introduced to the world on April 24, 1976. Named the Epsilon Omega chapter, its home rests on the campus of Morgan State University, located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Epsilon Omega was founded by 11 beautiful, talented women who displayed unshakable dedication and enthusiasm toward the Morgan State band program. To ensure the establishment of this great chapter, our Founding Mothers worked diligently with their band director, John Newson, to bring to us what we hold dear, our chapter, Epsilon Omega. As a result of Epsilon Omega's dedication and consistently excellent service the chapter was given the honor of becoming a "big sister chapter" by helping to charter new chapters of Tau Beta Sigma established at Bowie State University, Hampton University, and Delaware State University.

Epsilon Omega's Notable Accomplishments include:

Chapter Leadership Award (1997)

Chapter Leadership Award Finalist  (1997, 1999, 2003, 2021)

Chapter Participation Award (1995, 2003, 2007, 2017)
