THE MAGNIFICENT MARCHING MACHINE

The Morgan State University Band Program has been thriving for over 50 years supporting our Morgan State University students through its variety of ensembles. Our ensembles include the Magnificent Marching Machine, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Pep Band, and more. Previously directed by Melvin N. Miles Jr., the Morgan State University Band has traveled the world and performed in a myriad of locations including films and even the United States White House. The band was also honored with the opportunity of performing in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Now under the direction of Dr. Jorim E. Reid, Sr., the Magnificent Marching Machine has participate in Honda Battle of the Bands in February of 2023. in December of 2023, the Drumline will  From its inception, the band has been functioning on the premise that we are highly motivated, deeply dedicated and full of pride!
